Our methodology

How we evaluate online reward platforms

The requirements. The rewards. The parts worth questioning.

Editorial date:

Start with evidence, not a reward headline

We start with the provider's own programme pages, help centre, membership terms, reward policy and privacy information. Sources are linked in individual reviews. Primary material is evidence of what a provider states, not independent proof that every participant will have the advertised experience.

Where a document is inaccessible, incomplete or appears outdated, we say what could not be established and avoid filling the gap with an invented figure. Campaign eligibility is checked against the supplied campaign information, not inferred from a provider's general international website.

What every review considers

  1. The activity: what participants actually do and what triggers a potential reward.
  2. Eligibility: geographic coverage, age or account conditions and further screening.
  3. Setup: signup steps, device compatibility, software installation and permissions.
  4. Reward validation: the difference between starting, completing, crediting and redeeming an activity.
  5. Redemption: thresholds, point values, processing schedules and method-specific restrictions.
  6. Spending: purchases, subscriptions, connectivity costs and the risk of an uncredited reward.
  7. Time: setup, screening, task completion and resolving missing credit.
  8. Privacy: profile information, identity checks, device measurement and third-party processing.
  9. Support: where to raise an account, reward or privacy dispute.
  10. Fit: the reader circumstances in which an option is useful, limited or unsuitable.

Research is not a hands-on test

The current reviews are research-based. We do not claim to have earned money, installed software or completed a multi-day test without a documented record.

A hands-on claim would require a dated test plan, the tester's actual country and relevant device setup, records of tasks attempted, total time and costs, evidence of credit or rejection, and payout evidence when a received-payment claim is made. The review would explain sample limitations and distinguish provider statements from observed results.

A screenshot of a dashboard balance alone would not establish an amount received, a typical outcome or a repeatable hourly rate. Personal account details would need to be removed from any published evidence.

Descriptive assessments, not invented scores

We use descriptions such as gaming offers, survey participation, broad task variety or ongoing device research. We do not manufacture star ratings, testimonials or a numerical league table.

Comparison lists use alphabetical ordering and useful activity filters. Inclusion and editorial assessment are based on coverage, requirements and available evidence, not publisher commission. A platform with incomplete activation information can appear as a clearly marked informational review, but not as an enabled registration recommendation.

Keep the money concepts separate

A task reward is conditional on qualifying completion. A withdrawal threshold is a required balance. A point value is a conversion. A promotional maximum is a provider claim. An earnings result needs actual evidence. None is interchangeable with a publisher payout.

Without verified participant data, we do not publish a typical daily-income claim. Instead, we explain what affects the outcome and provide an effective hourly-rate calculator for a reader's actual inputs.

Updates and corrections

Each review carries a fixed editorial date and a source list. The date changes only when the content is genuinely reviewed or amended, not every time somebody opens the page.

When a source, campaign condition or error comes to attention, the relevant fact should be rechecked, unsupported details removed or qualified, and the editorial date updated where appropriate. Material uncertainty can also mean disabling a campaign while the review remains readable.

Use the contact and corrections page for the currently published contact route. Include the page URL, the statement in question and a relevant primary source. This site does not receive correction submissions through a form.
